The Minds Behind The Cupcake Madness:

Emily Downing-Moore and Thaddeus Moore

Emily has been baking since she was 3 years old, thanks to her Grandma! She also works as a Certified Nurse Midwife, which keeps her occupied most days, and a good deal of nights. When she's not catching babies, she is baking cupcakes that will blow your mind!

Thaddeus is a Eugene native, and is the owner of one of Eugene's finest recording studios- Sprout City Studios. Here he records and produces fabulous music with a vast array of great musicians. He also happens to be a cupcake mastermind, and is behind many of the more "unique" recipes!

Carroll Kamlin is another one of Divine Cupcake's baker extraordinaries! Though Salem is the place she calls home, she's well known for spending all hours of the day and night crankin' out the cupcakes here in Eugene for all those hungry festival folks! Carroll also happens to be Emily's mom, which is more than an added bonus!

Why Organic?

Well, It's common sense; organic food is good food. Good to eat, good for the environment, good for the farmers and farm workers who produce it. Many studies show that Organic agriculture practices provide many more nutrients per ounce of food than current standards. Though we make sweet treats, we still see the benefits in the taste of our cupcakes, and we're sure you will too!

Organic farming may be one of the best ways to keep both ecosystems and rural communities healthy and alive. Supporting organic growers is one of the best things people can do directly to help the planet. If you're money is not going towards Organic agriculture, its going towards petro-chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and adding more CO2 to our atmosphere. So... please eat organic, and support businesses that take the pledge to support sustainability!

As well as organic...

Sustainable business practices are gaining momentum and support in our communities. Yay to that! We are committed to recycling everything we can, and to using recycled materials in our packaging.
